DESIGN: Lightwell
Highwater is a beautiful example of how art enriches the community. This double side display is 9m high x 1.2m wide and sits on the plaza next to the new library as part of the City of Sydney’s Green Square redevelopment.
Using outdoor 6mm pitch SMD LED cabinets the display takes data from onsite weather sensors, tidal information and Bureau of Meteorology reports to display the local weather and tide information through the use of ever changing watercolour patterns.
